Absolutely fabulous and scenic room with a scenic view and even soap, as for instance, and smoke detectors too for guests' safety. Brilliant and marvelous location in Pitlochry, next to the loch, the restaurant, and the town centre: )

No complaints, it was dope! Beautiful hotel, the idea of having superior queen room was great. The staff were helpful! The room for my needs. Everything was great, very very good breakfast. The location was particularly good, close to town centre, in the lovely quiet area. I had early meal in Khan Baba's, based nearby.

Had a lovely stay here for a night. Our room was quite big and very clean . Food was served piping hot and nice. Staff friendly and helpful..
Checked in early and arranged a later check out time than the 10am... Lovely warm pool which we got to ourselves...
Our bathroom in room 122 was dated but I understand there is renovations going on, and given that we don't spend a great amount of time in the bathroom it wasn't a major issue. Rooms are a bit noisy in the morning with other guests checking out, doors banging and creeking floor boards.

Room 211 was poorly maintained mould on bath curtain. Bath tap leaked and could only be adjusted scalding. Hot or cold nothing in between. Window stiff and rotten.
Staff friendly.

The hotel including the rooms are not quite fresh anymore. The room itself was fine. The bed and the mattress are also a little old.
It was all a bit old, but not unkempt.

The leisure facilities, especially the pool and Jacuzzi, are fantastic for unwinding after a day of sightseeing.
The housekeeping was inconsistent, as we often found ourselves without essential items like tea and toilet paper.

We loved the on-site leisure club with the Jacuzzi, and our day trip to nearby historic castles and the distillery was dope. Definitely recommend checking out the festival theatre too. Nice spot to relax after exploring the area.
We did encounter some noise issues early in the morning, likely due to other guests.

Charming Location with Room for Improvement
The history of the building added charm, but the dining experience fell short. I recommend exploring local eateries for better options. Ensure to book dining reservations well in advance to avoid disappointment.
